Nominate a Student

While there are many outstanding young people in every high school, Green Across the Pacific's programs are not for every student. Many high school students do not have the maturity, resilience or self-confidence to take full advantage of our programs. You can help us get the word out to those students who would be an excellent fit for our program. We value having students with diverse interests and backgrounds in each program.


In general, our students are:

  - independent thinkers

  - self-confident

  - thoughtful risk takers

  - young people who care deeply
               .. about learning about themselves,
               .. about the environment
               .. about another culture

  - willing to spend three intensive weeks during the summer away from family and friends

  - highly motivated to share what they learn through their writing and with their community
