China-America Environmental Youth Leadership Program: South China & Vermont

Be Yourself.  Learn from Others.  Explore Other Cultures.

This secondary student exchange program takes place in Vermont or South China each summer. It is a program for young people dedicated to finding better ways to treat each other and the environment that sustains us. We are looking for American and Canadian students who would like to come to understand the fascinating Chinese culture better through shared field programs with Chinese students designed to address pressing environmental issues.

Have you ever been to South China?

The Affiliated High School of South China Normal University is designing a program to introduce students to the nature, culture, economy, and history of Guangdong & Yunan, China.

You will work with Chinese students and see a part of China through the lens of a Chinese program, not as a tourist would. This program will run for two weeks in July 2017 (approximate dates are between 6 to 24 July). Earn College credit through Castleton University will tentatively be available.
Amazing views, plenty of opportunity to study the culture and learn something new!
